There's a saying in the real estate industry , "If you don't have any friends who are agents, then you probably don't have any friends at all."
With so many different agents out there, how do you make the right decision? Should you choose a friend, neighbor or coworker? Should you work with an agent at a large firm, a small firm, a franchise or an independent? The answer is, work with Samson Realty.
While there's an exception to every rule, and every marketplace has its own distinctions, there are some basic rules to get the best qualified representation.
Experience
The real estate profession is plagued by high turnover. This creates a workforce that is made up of many newcomers. While there are brand new agents with good intentions, why trust one of the largest investments you'll ever buy or sell to someone without experience?
Always look for an agent with at least two years of experience. Anyone still in the business after two years has probably learned at least the fundamentals of real estate. Samson Realty agents have more experience per capita than the typical firm.
Market Knowledge
Your agent should be able to quote the value of your home off the top of his head. He should know your neighborhood as well as you do. Dont be fooled by an agent from across town, hire one who knows your neighborhood and how to market it. Hire a Samson Realty agent.
I am a Chantilly, VA resident and have been for years. I have been an Associate Broker with Samson Realty for 5 years. I specialize in selling real estate in Northern Virginia. Focusing on Loudoun County real estate, Fairfax County real estate and Prince William County real estate. I have sold hundreds of homes in South Riding, Ashburn, The Cascades, Stone Ridge, Ridings at Blue Spring, Kirkpatrick Farm, Westview Estates, Lenah Run, Mcnair Farms, Crosspoint, Barrington. If you are looking for a Northern Virginia Realtor that has experience, look no further. From Fairfax Station to Leesburg and all places in between, I am your qualified Real Estate Professional.
Commitment
Another problem in the industry is a large number of part time agents. These people have either retired from some other career, work in real estate seasonally or are earning a second income for the family and don't need to work full time. No matter how long they have been in real estate, their lack of full-time commitment makes it impossible for them to keep up with the large number of changes in law, marketing and business practices that are occur in the profession today. If an agent isn't working at least thirty hours a week, fifty weeks a year, look for someone else. In the current market, a part time realtor will waste your time and not be willing to commit the resources to sell your home. Choose an agent who answers thier phone, returns emails promptly and understands the complexity of selling a home in Northern Virginia. Northern Virginia real estate is challenging to say the least!
I bring both experience and commitment to every deal. So, whether you are buying or selling a home, hire someone like me, who wants to earn your business. I invite you to contact me as I'd be happy to assist you with this important transaction.
In today's competitive Northern Virginia real estate market, the quality of your agent is everything. Selling a home takes skill, experience and commitment. If you own real estate that you're thinking of selling, I would be happy to provide you with a FREE Home Evaluation.
